Fishing Report 5/23/2020

Happy Memorial Day weekend! Any big plans? We’ll be fishing! We are officially open and couldn’t be happier. We had a few boats go out yesterday for fishing and they had some success.

  • Captain Bobby took a family of three out in the morning. The parents caught limits on mackinaws and their 11-year-old daughter caught one mackinaw.
  • Captain Paul took a family of three out in the afternoon and they all caught limits on mackinaws.
  • Captain Zach took a group of seven out in the afternoon and caught 11 mackinaws and the elusive brown trout.

We also were able to donate some minnows to Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care for their birds. Yay for supporting Tahoe businesses!

All in all it was a pretty good first day of fishing for our reopening. We are looking forward to a successful week with great weather. We have availability throughout the week if you’re looking to get on the water. Give us a call (530.541.5448) or book online.
