Fresh Caught Fish Dinner

Many people in Lake Tahoe know about our fishing charters, but did you know that there are local restaurants here in South Lake Tahoe that will cook your fresh-caught fish for you? One such restaurant we partner with is MacDuff’s Irish Pub. After our customers return from their fishing charters many of them will drop off their catch at Macduff’s. It typically takes 2 hours of prep time and they can have their fish professionally prepped and ready to be cooked. After dropping off your fish make sure to make a reservation to have your table waiting for you. This is especially important during busy holiday periods.

The dinner starts with a Farmers Market salad served family style with a homemade Basalmic Vinigaraette. The main plate that MacDuffs prepares is a family-style dish. The fish are filleted down and prepared in three different ways, Beer-Battered with house-made Tarter Sauce, Blackened with Zesty Remoulade, and Sauteed with Cream Sherry Dill Sauce. Sides that come with your fish include hand-cut french fries, sauteed mixed vegetables, and homemade buttered peas.

The price of the dinner is $36 per person and we have heard nothing but great things about the meal from our returning customers. We are told that it is best to reserve your table after your trip and that no fish dinners can be made for takeout.
