Fishing Report 10/23/2021

Welcome to this week’s fishing report brought to you by Tahoe Sport Fishing.

Macks are back!

Kokanee season has come to a close and we are back to targeting the mackinaw. Mackinaw is the largest and dominant fish species in Lake Tahoe. While not quite as flavorful as the Kokanee (the candy of the lake), they are still a great fish to eat.

Tahoe Sport Fishing is back to fishing the deep Tahoe waters for the mackinaw. We are trolling about 200-400  feet. We use live minnows on all of our fishing charters.

Although the weather this weekend has limited our charter availability, we are looking forward to some nice fall fishing weather after the coming snow storm on Monday.

October Fishing

Fall fishing at it’s best!

Tahoe Sport Fishing offers two charter times daily. We have eight boats in our fleet. We cater to single fishermen, families, bachelor parties and corporate groups. We can accommodate groups up to 72 people.

What’s on your agenda this week? We’d love to take you fishing! We have availability throughout the week after Monday. We’re open seven days a week and fishing twice a day. We aren’t fully booked most days, but do have limited Captains available this time of year. The more notice you can give us, the better chance you have of getting your requested time and date. Give us a call (530.541.5448) or book online.

We hope to see you soon! Happy fishing! 🎣
