June Fishing Report
Summer has officially arrived, and June brought some of the best fishing we’ve seen all season. Our fleet landed an incredible 1,493 fish throughout the month, with consistent action and plenty of smiling anglers aboard.
June Catch Totals: 1493 total fish caught
- 1276 Mackinaw Lake Trout
- 214 Kokanee Salmon
- 1 Brown Trout
- 2 Rainbow Trout
The Mackinaw bite remained exceptionally strong throughout June, while Kokanee fishing really began to pick up as the water warmed. Beautiful weather, calm mornings, and steady fishing made for an unforgettable month on Lake Tahoe.
Whether you’re an experienced angler chasing trophy fish or simply looking to enjoy a day on the water with family and friends, summer is one of the best times of the year to book a charter.
Fish of the Month 🎣
This month’s Fish of the Month is a beautiful 12.5-pound Mackinaw Lake Trout, caught during a morning charter with Captain Sammy and Deckhand Riley.
The fish put up a great fight before making its way to the boat for a quick photo, and was safely released to swim another day.
As for where it was caught… we’ll just say Captain Sammy has a few secrets he’s planning to keep. 😉

Congratulations to this lucky angler on landing a beautiful 12.5 lb Mackinaw during a morning charter with Captain Sammy and Deckhand Riley.
Summer dates continue to fill quickly, so if you’re planning a trip to Lake Tahoe, now is a great time to reserve your charter.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the water this month. We can’t wait to see what July has in store!
