January Fishing Report | Tahoe Sportfishing
We wrapped up January with 268 total fish caught, all Mackinaw (Lake Trout), a strong mid-winter month on Lake Tahoe.
Fishing conditions stayed consistent throughout January. While we did see some snowfall, it was nothing major, and weather allowed us to continue fishing regularly without significant disruption.
We focused on deep water for Mackinaw, with steady action and productive days on the lake. Winter continues to be a great time to target Lake Tahoe’s largest trout.
Fish of the Month 🎣

Our Fish of the Month goes to Captain James with our customer, Drakeo

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the lake this month. Winter Mackinaw fishing is in full swing, and we’re taking daily reservations.
