December Fishing Report from Tahoe Sportfishing

We wrapped up December with 188 total fish caught, a solid month on the water, especially considering the heavy snowfall toward the end of the month. Mackinaw fishing stayed strong throughout December, keeping rods bent despite winter conditions.

We continued targeting deep water for Mackinaw, adjusting locations as weather allowed and finding consistent action even during shorter winter days.

Fish of the Month 🎣

A 20 lb Mackinaw caught on December 6th by Captain Bobby and his son Bennett.

A special father-son catch and one of the standout fish of the month.

We also landed one Brown Trout on December 22nd, adding some variety to the December catch totals.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the lake this month. Winter Mackinaw fishing is in full swing, and we’re taking daily reservations.
